Each skein of Basic Stitch yarn has been treated to resist pilling, making this an ideal yarn for clothing or crafts that will see a lot of wear and tear. Made from a blend of 100% acrylic fiber, each skein weighs 3.5 oz. (100 g) and is 185 yds. (170 m) long. It's perfect for big projects or for building up a yarn supply. This yarn is rated CYC #4 medium and works well with knitting needle sizes 5.0 mm and crochet hook sizes 5.0 mm. This yarn is machine washable in warm water and can be dried on a low-to-medium drying temperature. If any pills do start to form, give this yarn a quick wash to remove them.
