The original yarn used was Mary Maxim's Knitting Worsted, providing approximately 260 yards on a 4 oz skein at the time. But now, with a wide variety of worsted yarns to choose from, you can customize this project to suit your personal style. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. We highly recommend Mary Maxim Starlette, a long-time staple here at Mary Maxim! Requires knitting needle sizes 6 (4 mm) and a 12" round cushion form.
