Designed with Mary Maxim Starlette Ragg yarn, which offered 120 yd/2 oz ball at that time. This well-loved yarn is still available, along with a wonderful assortment of worsted-weight yarns to choose from, that will be perfect for this project! Keep in mind, yardages have changed. Materials List: Size/Amount - 4 (6 balls), 6-8 (8 balls), 10 (10 balls) Teddy Bear sweater is 2 extra balls, and a knitting needle size U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) - Intermediate knit.
Stitch Requirements: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, decrease, increase, repeat, Dec2B, Dec2F.

some splitting of metallic thread from main yarn
The wool was very fine but great to knit.There was one ball that I started with was full of knots that I had to cut out as I hate joining another ball to continue my work.Other then that the other balls were all fine.
