Description
Simple stripes of garter stitch create this charming cardigan and hat for a boy or girl. For the intermediate knitter, the Striped Cardi and Hat would be an adorable set to make for your child or grandchild. Both the Cardi and Hat are knit in garter stitch, using two strands of yarn held together. This cardigan is knit in one piece from the bottom edge to the beginning of the raglan armholes. The back, front and sleeves are worked separately. The hat shown was knit using a circular needle with a seam across the top. Optional directions are given in the pattern to knit the hat using single point needles.
Kit includes Mary Maxim Twinkle yarns and instructions. Buttons not included. Requires needles size 4.50 mm. Intermediate Knit.
